Jessica Hirschmann-Lempin has turned a childhood fascinating into a passionate and dedicated career. Jessica began processing film and prints for the general public in her late teens. Seeing such photographic artistry in print opened Jessica up to expanding her own knowledge, thus leading her into majoring in photography in college.
In college, Jessica was taught an in-depth study of professional photographic practices, including film applications and processing techniques. Later in her career, Jessica co-founded Long Island Photo Gallery, located in New York. There she curates the retail space, runs photography exhibits, and works directly with the gallery membership to help them develop a robust portfolio. Jessica also leads photography excursions, including the annual World Wide Scott Kelby Photo Walk event, runs photo critique sessions, and teaches Adobe Lightroom to photographers of all caliber.
Jessica doesn't like to limit herself or her style to just one type of photographic process. She is constantly inspired by grand scenic vistas, the silkiness of a long exposure, the crisp lines and character of architecture and buildings, and the amazing world of macro photography.
